Amanda is from South Africa, but has lived in the UK and in the USA since 1999.
Amanda studied Ashtanga yoga for a few years and traveled to Mysore India to further
her studied with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and Sharath Rangaswamy at
The Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute.
In 2006 Amanda received her certification as a Purna Yoga™ Teacher
by Aadil Palkhivala
after completing a 2000 hour program at the
College of Purna Yoga™.
The College of Purna Yoga is licensed by
the state of Washington.

Amanda also offers special sessions which include scanning, beaming, meditation, aura clearing, healing attunements, and techniques to unite and honor your True Nature and purpose.
Feel free to ask her about private yoga sessions or yoga postures and breathing techniques to help with releasing energy blockages and physical tension.
Amanda's work support and enhances other therapies like massage, acupressure, dream work and meditation.
Amanda has a love for music and plays the violin, cello, acoustic guitar and studies operatic singing with internationally renowned soprano Awilda Verdejo. She have been playing violin for several local Seattle bands and do session work for fun.
She holds a degree in Law and a grade 8 Violin Royal Schools of England Certification.
Amanda has been playing violin since the age of 6. Amanda has taught violin at several primary schools and also put together a small ensemble for children ages 6 – 13 years.
She teaches Private violin lessons for beginner Adult and Children students. Her classes teaches students a classical foundation and encourages students to develop and learn improvisation in a variety of musical styles that suites their interests and performance styles.
Amanda loves traveling, family life and friends.
